NET. is an experimental publication that explores the history of Net Art, an Avant-Garde art movement that began in the 1990s and used the internet as its primary vehicle of communication. NET. is inspired by the presentation of prominent artwork in the movement, which explored both fear and excitement at the advent of the internet. Using a Raspberry Pi and LCD display housed in a plexiglass casing, NET. includes a physical video component featuring data-moshing, a technique of data corruption and video manipulation.
